What color what color milanese band look better with the gold sport watch?

I recently purchased the gold sport watch. My problem is finding metal bands that compliment the gold sport watch. Has anyone purchased a metal band for the sport gold watch and if so what color? I'm interested in a milanese band that compliments my watch.

Apple Watch, watchOS 2.2.1, Gold Sport

Hi

You may find Apple's online gallery helpful for previewing how your Rose Gold Apple Watch would look with Apple's metal bands:

Your best option may be to schedule an appointment to try on Apple Watch at an Apple Retail Store, to try the different bands (walk-in appointments may also be available):

For the best performance and results, use only Apple bands or Apple authorised bands.

Apple advises that other third-party bands:

  • May not fit properly;
  • May contain materials that cause skin sensitivities or other health concerns;

    Every material in Apple bands that touches the skin has been extensively evaluated in accordance with Apple's specifications.

  • May interfere with the Wrist Detection feature;
  • May damage Apple Watch:
    • Unauthorised third-party bands may have components that do not meet Apple's design specifications.
    • Such bands may, for example, become jammed in the watch (an example of this has been posted here previously), release too easily, fail to resist slide-out force, corrode easily or exhibit other issues.

All presently available Apple bands are available to view and purchase here:

While I would advise you to take care in selecting a 3rd party band it is really no different than selecting a 3rd party band for any Watch. If you have skin allergies you always have to be careful in selecting items that touch your skin and there are many posts here about people reacting to Apple bands including the metal ones. Or even the Watch itself. Now that 3rd party bands have access to "authorized" Watch connectors the connection problem has diminished. The only band I know of currently that is having fit problems to the watch is the new woven nylon band from Apple. But as always use caution, don't force it, test it with your arm swinging, make sure you don't react to it. After that enjoy your watch and the matching band. Lots of people are happily using their 3rd party bands even though Apple would rather they buy Apple ones. Given the poor Watch sales maybe Apple should expand their certification program for bands like they did with iPhone cases.
